From manufacturer Vaillant comes the ‘831’ successor the ‘ecoTEC Plus 832’, bringing with it better efficiency ratings, increased hot water output and enhanced flow rates.

Is the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 832 the best Combi Boiler for my home?

The ‘ecoTec Plus 832’ comes with a heating output of 24.4kW and will comfortably heat a 3-4 bedroom property. It’s also seen an upgrade from its predecessor (the ‘831’) with a hot water output of 30kW enabling the boiler to supply 13 litres of hot water per minute, making it ideal for homes with a bathroom containing a bath and shower, or even two separate bathrooms (one with a shower installed).

The ‘832’ also comes with a shiny new pump to help make the boiler more efficient and in-line with energy efficiency regulations (ErP) and reaches a seasonal efficiency of 89.3% (SEDBUK 2009).

Boiler controls can be accessed via a drop-down flap located on the front of the boiler. Features include the ability to control output, switch the boiler on and off and a display panel used to show fault codes should something go wrong.
